Frank Springer draws a fantastic city, doesn’t he? This cover gives a good sense of the story in this issue by compressing the romance and crime-fighting into a single iconic image. (Ali isn’t in her Dazzler duds during her aerial makeout sessions with Warren inside the comic, something that Springer gestures toward in this picture by leaving off Dazzler’s stage makeup. Her unmadeup face stands in here for her largely costume-free appearance throughout the issue itself.)
